Join artist Jo Blaker to explore the Hurvin Anderson: Salon Paintings exhibition.
In the galleries, explore Hurvin Anderson’s paintings through creative activities. In the learning studios, play with shapes, mirrors and elements from the paintings to create your own Hurvin Anderson-style barbershop scene. Try out experimental painting to make blocks of textured colour inspired by the works in the gallery.
Please note
Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.
Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.
Exhibition entry is £12 / £10 / FREE for Members, Wakefield district residents and under 18s. Concessions are available.
