The biennial golf event was held once again at Alamance Country Club, Burlington, NC, however, this year’s format was a bit different. A 1 pm shotgun start, allowed the over 100 players to enjoy an afternoon outside of work, while playing golf to support a worthy cause. Although, the weather did not cooperate, each and every player finished the round. At the end of the day, the golfers were welcomed in from a cold, rainy day into the clubhouse for the reception. Guest speakers included Justin McArthur, MD, MBBS, FAAN and Adam Kaplin, MD, PhD who spoke to the group intently about the possible causes of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Transverse Myelitis (TM),and the research currently underway through Project RESTORE in finding new therapies for these two neurological diseases. Mulligans Fore MS was honored to host a second successful outing.
