The Art of the Potter: Ceramics and Sculpture from 1930 to Now

Andrew Cranston will hold his first solo exhibition in a UK public institution this November at The Hepworth Wakefield. The exhibition will feature new and recent paintings, focusing on Cranston’s works post 2016.

The Hepworth Family Gift / Hepworth At Work

The Hepworth Family Gift consists of 44 full size, rarely seen working models - surviving prototypes in plaster and aluminium made in preparation for the works in bronze Hepworth executed from the mid-1950s to the end of her career.

Ronald Moody: A Transatlantic Modernist, Sculpture 1935-84

Jamaican-born sculptor Ronald Moody is one of the most significant artists of the 20th century and yet, there have not been any comprehensive exhibitions or monographs of his work to date. This major exhibition will explore the development of Moody’s art as well as his contribution and impact on British and international art history.

Louise Giovanelli

Louise Giovanelli is a Manchester-based artist, who is known for her large-scale meditative paintings that capture ephemeral and sensual moments using beautifully crafted textures and vivid beguiling colour. Giovanelli will be creating a new body of work for this solo exhibition at The Hepworth Wakefield.
